Summer Retreat
In this luxury pre-fabricated house, scale, craftsmanship and quality of materials are elevated well beyond the standards of traditional residential construction. The cost effectiveness of prefabrication made this possible, allowing the owners to maximize their return on investment. The owners sought a pre-fabricated solution in order to construct their dream house for a lower cost.
The 3,000 sq ft 3 bedroom L-shaped house wraps around private courtyard containing a swimming pool surrounded by pristine Virginia countryside. A roof deck over the main living spaces provides an additional outdoor space accessed through a family room, that allows for more expansive views of the countryside beyond and the more immediate outdoor spaces surrounding the house.
Materials: Exterior: Premium Cedar Siding, Cement Board Panels, Standing Seam Metal Roof, Ipe Wood Decking, Aluminum Clad Wood Windows with Low E, Insulated Glass, Natural Stone Veneer Walls. Interior: Concrete Flooring, Mahogany Flooring, CaeserStone, Countertops, Glass Mozaic Wall Tile, Hot Rolled Black Steel Wall Panels.
